A pasar malam in Shah Alam

Pasar malam, literally translated as night market, is one of the prominent features of Malaysian’s lifestyle. It is not a night market specifically caters for the tourists coming to Malaysia. A normal pasar malam is where most Malaysians go for cheap local food and for foreign travellers coming to a pasar malam, it is where one can find the most variety of local delicacies and the sense of multiracial Malaysia. This is the place where Malaysians congregate to find the food where it is usually hard to find elsewhere. A pasar malam can be found in most townships and it opens usually once a week. Ask a local for a pasar malam in their area and immerse yourselves in the experience.

Any similar pasar malam in your place?

  1. hehe. like 10 years back..pasar malam has been part of my life. almost 20 years…our house happened to be at the pasar malam base. bukak pagar terus stall. we had to keep sending complaint to majlis daerah to move the base jauh sket. hence, ironically…i didn’t fancy that much..sbb mcm dh rutin tiap minggu tengok org ramai sgt. blocking our house etc. hehe. siap gaduh2 dgn seller lagik. but ..kalau pasar malam tempat lain aku pegi. hahahaha

    1. bro agip,

biar betul pasar malam depan rumah je? kalau betul2 depan rumah sampai mengacau, aku pun hangin gak kot n takmau pi. hahaha

tp kan sama macam aku. pasar malam pun pergi area seksyen 19 shah alam, padahal kat area rumah aku seksyen 28 ni ada jugak pasar malam. hehehe. maybe sebab yang kat sini dha boring kot. lagipun tak ramai org kita [malaysia]. hahah.
